Today I installed CuteFTP 3.0.27 Beta. I'm a longtime FTP Explorer user, and this switch came when I needed to mirror an FTP site, something which my old client did, but without file resuming. Besides the fact that one day I'll have to register this thing, I don't have any complaints. And the buttons are nice and shiny too. Most programs nowadays don't seem to take that much into consideration, having rollovers and stuff. I guess that's why it's called Cute Ftp. My reason for the switch is because I'm going to make a big switch in operating systems. Once I spend half a year downloading Debian, I'm going straight to Linux, baby! (Sounds like I'm going to hell, doesn't it?) I certainly hope not. I've read all the manuals and, well, I might be able to install the damn thing fine, but fluent operation will likely take a while. I'll try to keep this updated! |
