Microsoft Image Composer

A much friendlier approach to image creation and editing than learning PhotoShop or Fireworks, Image Composer is drawing for dummies. Okay, so it's better than that, as I have created all the images on my site with this program. The 90-day beta is still available, and I heartily recommend any budding graphic artist to check this one out first.

Actually, I use an older version 2.5a because I have the registration number for it. HomeSite, made by the great Allire corporation, is a raw HTML editor extrodinaire. It's color coded, supports tons of HTML thingies, and lets me work how I please. If you want to learn the code, I can only recommend this program.

Ulead Gif Animator Lite

Although I love Microsoft's Image Composer, it can't make a GIF to save its life. So that's why I save my images in BMP format and use this program to convert them. It's small, it's fast, and boy is it efficent. This version is the "lite" version, without a lot of the advanced features but still with the excellent GIF construction tools. If you need a GIF, you need this program.
